DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season at YMCA Camp Pepin’s 5th annual Winterfest! This free\, family friendly event offers a variety of outdoor and indoor activities throughout the day. \nAt Winterfest\, we are planning the following fun on the frozen lake: \n\nLake Pepin’s largest ice carousel\nIce skating\nBroomball\nIce fishing\n\nIf there’s snow\, you can don a pair of snowshoes and embark on a winter walk through the woods\, as well as take on our sledding hill. Bring your own snowshoes and sleds or borrow one of ours! \nNon weather-dependent activities include winter birding\, winter-themed arts and crafts\, and cozying up to the campfire while enjoying yummy s’mores. A light meal will be available for purchase in the Dining Hall. \nWinterfest is a free\, drop-in event and open to all. Donations will be accepted with all proceeds helping support YMCA Camp Pepin.
